Three of our restaurants among The 100 Best in Europe

We are very happy for our team, our customers, and all the professionals and gourmets who visit us each year. We have managed to have three of our restaurants listed among the 100 Best in Europe in the prestigious Opinionated About Dining ranking. We are very proud and grateful to have reached this unprecedented milestone.

Quique Dacosta Restaurant is ranked seventh, maintaining the privileged position we’ve enjoyed over the past few years as one of the top ten restaurants in Europe, with all the responsibility this entails. The leitmotiv of our cuisine “Cooking Beauty”, our new gastronomic offer for the season “For Art’s Sake” and the chef’s career—spanning over 35 years—, continue to prove successful in the competitive and exciting world of fine dining.

Moreover, Steve Plotnicki and the hundreds of professionals and international food critics who compile the list have decided to include El Poblet, the only restaurant in Valencia that has make it onto the ranking. Chef Luis Valls, maître Ana Botella, and masterful sommelier Hernan Menno have once again given everyone in Valencia cause for celebration, allowing with cuisine rooted in the region’s abundant local products and inspiring traditions.

As if that weren’t enough, there’s more great news about Deessa (Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid). The restaurant opened two years ago and has since won two Michelin stars and two Repsol suns, and now, María Torrecilla, Guillermo Chávez, and Silvia García have managed to position it among the hundred best in Europe. It is a unique product-based offer in an excellent, incomparable setting. With only two years on the scene, Deessa has already become an important leader in international fine dining!
